As a referral centre, we are not able to take referrals directly from pet owners, you will need to be referred through your local veterinary practice. Once referred by your vet, one of our team will contact you to book your first consultation.
Your vet will then provide us with all your pet's medical history, laboratory tests, radiographs, referral letter and any other relevant information.
If you need to change your current appointment, please call us on 01638 572012 and we will accommodate you as much as we possibly can. You can also email us at reception@dwr.co.uk.
If your pet stays with us as an inpatient, you can contact a Case Manager who will be able to keep you updated on their progress, as well as helping you with any queries on their condition or your insurance etc. For Case Manager's details please click here.
Our normal opening hours are 9.00am to 7.00pm Monday to Friday for routine referrals and appointments. Emergencies appointments are available outside of these hours if we have the space and resources to provide safe and effective care, and emergency fees do apply.
After investigations and treatment are complete, our clinicians will work alongside your local vet to help manage the long-term care of your pet.
