About
Alex completed her ECC Internship at the University of Edinburgh and has been an emergency night vet at Abbey House veterinary Hospital in Leeds. She moved to the UK a few months after graduating, driven by her desire to expand her knowledge. Soon after starting to work in a private first opinion hospital, she realised that emergency and critical care medicine is where her passion lies and started to pursue the goal of becoming a Specialist. She enjoys teaching as well as all areas of emergency and critical care, especially coagulopathies, the role of glycocalyx and transfusion medicine.
