About
I graduated in 2010 from the University of Lisbon in Portugal, and since then I have had a special interest for diagnostic imaging. Soon after graduation, I was awarded a scholarship which allowed to come to the UK to do a project on the the MRI appearance of nasal disease in dogs at the University of Cambridge. I then returned to Portugal where I worked in a very busy hospital near Lisbon and finished a post-graduation degree on small animal internal medicine. In 2012, I returned to the UK, where I have completed two general internships, one at Vets Now Referrals in Kent and one at the Animal Health Trust. I have then worked in general practice for 2 years before starting my internship in diagnostic imaging at DWR in January 2017. I have been recently awarded the certificate in advanced veterinary practice and although I enjoy all the aspects of diagnostic imaging, my main interest is the advanced imaging modalities like CT and MRI.
