About
Ashleigh gained her BVSc degree at the University of Pretoria, South Africa in 2017. In 2018 she worked as a charity Veterinarian whilst completing a Master’s degree. She moved to the UK in 2019 where she worked as a general practitioner in London and soon found her love for Dentistry. She has since completed a year’s internship at DentalVets outside Edinburgh and gained certificates in Small Animal Dentistry and Oral Surgery as well as Small Animal Anaesthesia and Analgesia. In April 2024 she started her residency in Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery under supervision of EVDC Diplomate Gerhard Putter at DWR. Her passion is helping animals have a pain-free mouth, especially animals who are geriatric or have comorbidities. In her free time, she enjoys going to the theatre, relaxing with her 3 cats or running after her Dalmatian puppy
