David completed his degree in Veterinary Medicine from Liverpool University in 2016, following a BSc in Biomedical Science from Queen Mary, University of London. He worked in first opinion in London for 2 years before completing a 12-month rotating internship at Fitzpatrick Referrals in 2019. He then returned to Liverpool University where he completed a 3-year residency in Small Animal Oncology in November 2022. He joined the Oncology Service at DWR a month later in December 2022. In April 2024, he obtained his European Diploma, and became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Oncology).
