Nic graduated from the Royal Veterinary College (RVC), London in 2008. He remained at the RVC for a further year to undertake a rotating small animal internship programme. Following successful completion of the internship Nic moved to Oxfordshire where he worked in a busy small animal first opinion practice.
Nic then successfully completed a European College of Veterinary Surgeons (ECVS) recognised residency at DWR Veterinary Specialists, also obtaining a Masters in Veterinary Surgery from the University of Nottingham.
Nic subsequently worked in a large referral centre in Suffolk as the Head of Orthopaedics and successfully established and ran a busy orthopaedic referral service. Nic then spent six years working in senior positions as a referral Specialist in large multidisciplinary hospitals in Hong Kong before deciding to return to the UK and DWR Veterinary Specialists as Head of Orthopaedics.
Alongside his clinical endeavours, Nic is passionate about leadership and developing an environment in which teams can thrive, allowing optimisation of patient care. In 2022 Nic became Hospital Director at DWR, a role in which he balances both site leadership and working as part of the clinical team providing orthopaedic care to pets in need.
