Wendy has worked in the veterinary profession for over 20 years and has extensive experience of veterinary nursing, both as a nurse working in referral practice and as a lecturer working within the education sector. Since qualifying in 1992, Wendy has worked in both mixed and small animal referrals and held the post of Head Theatre Nurse whilst studying for the Advanced Diploma in Surgery
Following the completion of a D32/33/34 NVQ Assessor qualification, Wendy moved from referral practice to take the role of Lecturer at Writtle Agricultural College where she gained her Certificate in Education and a BSc (Hons) in Veterinary Nursing.
Wendy has taught a wide cross section of the veterinary nursing syllabus in various establishments and is experienced in maximising the potential of all students.
